on entering tanzania through the isabania border crossing, we head south around lake victoria to mwanza, home town of mushtaq. after reunion with friends we head north again and enter the serengeti via the ndabaki gate. we will try to look for the annual migration in the western corridor. we then head east and enter the ngorongoro crater. from there we travel to arusha, stopping over at olduvai gorge. we then head north to moshi to check out mt kilimanjaro. from here we continue heading east towards the indian ocean and the start of the swahili coast. we will make a stop at tanga and pangani and then visit bagamoyo before reaching daressalaam. at dar we intend to service our vehicles. we will take a ferry across to zanzibar. on returning back, we continue on the swahili coast down to kilwa masoko, and take a boat across to kilwa kisiwa to see the famous ruins of once a famous city as described by ibn batuta. we double back head north towards morogoro and stop over at mikumi. further south, we stop at iringa to see the isimilia stone age site before going to mbeya. before we reach the border town of tunduma, we will check out the mbozi meteorite site.
