after spending a good 12 hrs on the ferry, we will drive the short distance to port sudan, where we will have a easy day with possibilities of diving and snoerkling. From here we will head towards atbara on a dirt track close to the railway line. from atbara we will stop over at the meroe pyramids before heading to khartoum, where we will spend a whole day exploring the city and omdurman. we then head toward the border town of gederef before crossing over into ethiopia.
