4:00pm: after stocking up supplies, fixing car repairs and recuperating, the group left mwanza at 9:00am and headed towards the serengeti plains. they went to the water pool to see the hippos, one of the most dangerous animals in africa. more people are killed by hippos than any other wild animal as many people get deceived by their docile appearance. these animals are not to be underestimated as they are fast, vicious and have a lethal bite. tonight, the group will be at the lobo lodge, built into the natural rock formation along a hillside.
