11:30pm: today was spent exploring the local market in mwanza. in the evening, they went on a sunset cruise on lake victoria. lake victoria is the largest lake in africa and is the source of the white nile. the plan for tomorrow is to leave at 8:30am and they will be heading towards the vast serengeti plains.
