al hamdullilah, praise be to Allah, we are now ready to depart on our journey. with all the preparations, we still were battling with last minute errands. support from our friends and families has been overwhelming, and has given us renewed courage. we will need all their prayers for ensuring we are travel safely.

3:30 pm, khobar, corniche road

home base: a crowd of friends were present to bid the mahmood and johnstone families bon voyage. bottles of water were taken from the arabian gulf and inshallah, this water will be poured into the ocean at cape point at the end of their exciting journey. hugs, best wishes and prayers for a safe journey bid the malaika and buraq farewell as they drove away to start their adventure. keep posted for updates.
